About: This Kandidaten three-seater sofa was designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and manufactured in Sweden by Olof Person in 1962. Constructed from solid teak this iconic design features cylindrical tapered legs with long bowed armrests that flash exceptional old-growth woodgrains. Whilst the wooden frame is in 100% original vintage condition the cushions have been replaced with high-quality medium density foam for maximum comfort and recovered in a fabulous white cotton boucle by Knoll perfectly offsetting the rich woodgrains. This timeless design is the perfect mixture of minimalism and comfort and when it's gone it's gone forever. Make it yours today.

Condition Details: This exceptional sofa has recently undergone a partial restoration featuring new upholstery. The solid teak frame is in 100% original vintage condition and has aged to perfection showing only minor nicks and light surface scratches (which can be seen in the photos provided). The sofa still retains it's original leather seat support straps and are all intact and weight-bearing. The cushions have been replaced with new medium-density foam for maximum comfort and recovered in a fabulous white boucle by Knoll Fabrics. This iconic sofa is incredibly comfortable structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
