Finely worked bronzes with brown patina mounted on yellow sienna marble bases.
The sculptures of Rousseau and Voltaire forming a pair are a model made at the end of the 18th century until the end of the restoration.
They are both represented in allegories of the lights, walking with a cane in one hand and a document in the other.
