(I started painting on impulse in the 1980s, as a self-taught person, looking deeply at all the painting that has always fascinated me since I was a child, such as that of the French impressionists, the post-impressionists, Van Gogh, and all the painting in genre of the early twentieth century such as that of Carrà and De Chirico I soon set out to create a personal landscape minimalism, made of geometric dimensions to which I gave three-dimensionality through the study of the atmospheres that created lights and shadows at various moments of the day, excluding the human presences but only tracing their traces.
