From the private cellar of a Piedmontese winemaker
The name of this red from the House of Gaja originates from the amazed and perplexed Piedmontese exclamation of Angelo's father, Giovanni, when he learnt that his son had planted cabernet sauvignon on his beloved Langhe hills. Undoubtedly Angelo's desire to experiment had one up over caution, but as a result of this gamble we can enjoy a red, that may be atypical, but in some years has notes of tannins and spiciness typical of the Langa.
