Rare Art Deco vase, DAUM Freres, Nancy, around 1920-22
Height: approx. 16. 5 cm, opening diameter: approx. 16. 5 cm, base: approx. 11. 0 cm
Vessel body made of colorless glass with attached slightly wavy base; wall ribbed 15 times. The shape is reminiscent of an antique (handleless) chalice krater.
The wall is covered with a 5-fold repeating elliptical decoration made of yellow-colored glass threads. A yellow glass drop is melted into the middle of each ellipse.
The rim of the vessel is framed by a light orange glass thread.
