Automotive engineer and businessman (1854-1929) who founded the automobile manufacturing company whose name survives as a division of General Motors. Partly-printed DS, signed “D. D. Buick,” one page, 10.5 x 8.25, April 25, 1911. Stock certificate issued to Austin Harvey Cutter for 100 shares of capital stock in the Buick Oil Company, with the upper section featuring an engraved vignette of a California oil field. Signed at the conclusion by David Dunbar Buick as president, with the lower left bearing the company's embossed gold seal. In fine condition.
