This lot is accompanied by documents relating to the artist, including an August 29, 1989 letter from Kathy Zimmerer, director of the University Art Gallery at California State University Dominguez Hills, Carson, CA, written to Barbara Leidenfrost on August 29, 1989. In the letter, Zimmerer requests a loan of the present lot for potential inclusion in the University Art Gallery's exhibition, "Twilight Scenes: Candice Gawne and David Hines," September 19 through October 19, 1989.
Condition Report: Overall good condition. Smudges of charcoal and pastel in the margins and on the reverse attendent with the materials used. Artist pinholes at the tips of the margin corners. Hinged to the back mat with linen tape in three places at the upper margin edge. Please note that the old damp staining visible along the left edge of the overmat does not appear to have affected the actual artwork or its margins beneath this display mat.Framed under glass: 37.5" H x 46" W x 1.5" D Condition reports are offered as a courtesy and are typically published in Moran's catalogue or can be made available upon request. The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free from defects or restoration, nor does a reference to particular defects imply the absence of others. Buyers are responsible for determining to their own satisfaction the true nature and condition of any lot prior to bidding.
