signed with the artist's initials, titled and dedicated 'Esso Garage Tripoli for Christopher DH' lower left
graphite and crayon on paper
28 x 38.1 cm (11 x 15 in.)
Executed in 1968, in the United Kingdom.

Condition Report:
The work is in very good condition. The upper horizontal edge of the sheet is deckled and there are two linear folds to the left and right side of the sheet, all deemed inherent to the artists materials used and studio technique. There is minor bumping to the lower left and upper corners, minor paper skinning towards the upper right corner, occasional very faint handling marks to the left vertical edge, and occasional minute pinpoint accretions in places, all only visible on close inspection. There is minor discolouration to the edges of the sheet, only visible on close inspection, deemed inherent to the framing method and not visible when the work is framed. This work has been examined under ultraviolet light and there is no evidence of restoration. Otherwise, there are no apparent condition issues with this work. The work is framed under glass in a silver metal frame, presented float-mounted and attached to their backing in places from the reverse.
