Sold at Sotheby's London in 2007. Walnut veneer, inlaid with macassar ebony, sycamore and burrwood, the sectional veneered moulded top within a scrolling frieze border, on four splayed supports and an octagonal plinth base. Linley has previously described the unifying principle of his design as bridging classical forms and contemporary motifs along with top quality craft and a discriminating choice of woods.
