Notes: Sir Nicholas Goodison notes these four prints are from Roberts's Sketches of the Holy Land, Syria, Idumea, Arabia, Egypt and Nubia. Lithographed by Louis Haghe with Historical and Descriptive Notices, and an Introductory View of Jewish History, by the Rev. George Croly LLD (1842-9), which was published by F.G. Moon of 20 Threadneedle Street. The publication was issued in ten instalments, the first six of which covered Volumes I-II from which these four prints are taken.
