David Solomon (Contemporary), Hand built Studio pottery jar and cover, 1995, Inscribed 'D SOLOMON 95' to lower side, 17cm high. Footnote: Raised in South Africa, Soloman describes his work as using earthy colours and different coloured clay bodies to give it a raw, grounded, textured feeling of Africa. In the 1990s he moved to Australia, and has exhibited in both Cape Town and Sydney.
