Then look no further than this fabulous, yet function De Beers hourglass. The hourglass consists of natural diamonds suspended in silicon fluid that fall in slow-motion...dramatic! Takes several minutes for these little diamonds to trickle through. The diamonds, themselves, are in the octahedral shape as they are found in nature when mined from the earth. The ends of the hourglass are marked "StarBurst Diamonds 2000" and "De Beers" on other end. Accompanied by a signed box. Base doesn't light up and is need of repair. There is damage to the edge of the base and white spots in three places. There is a blank plaque for engraving. There is no protective barrier that typically goes between the hourglass a base when stored. There is a retail price tag dated 6/28/2104 for $8250 included. There is light tarnish on the hourglass itself, with scratches throughout, and two small dents on the "starburst" end.
