Deberghe Ernest ca. 1878. (E D gaine de couteau) French silversmith. Snuff box made of 950/000 silver, tete de Mercure hallmark, golden interior, high level of craftsmanship. Elegant engraving believed to represent the Port of Valletta, very fine engraving work on both sides. Snuff box of rectangular shape, both on the front and on the back we find a motif that recalls the cross symbol of Malta. The snuff box has a very elaborate design with alternating concave and convex parts. Excellent condition, only some signs of use and aging (see images) . The box closes perfectly, zipper in excellent condition. Dimensions 84x47x14mm. Weight 60 gr. Fully insured tracked shipping
