Designed and built in the classicist style, with a heavy white marble stand, decorated with fire-gilt bronze ornaments. Standing boy figures holding the spherical clock case in their hands, also made of patinated bronze. Threaded dust cover on the back. Fine French movement with echappement, escapement with balance spring. Half and hour strike on bell. Very nice, well-kept clock in working condition. France, circa 1860, height 33 cm.
