Decorative ornament. Collector's item. Bombarda - Mascolo in cast iron.
Original object from the time, never restored. As per photo.
On the central part just above the hole at the bottom, you can see the letters SCT inside a circle, most likely they are the initials of the parish or the noble family that commissioned it at the time. (SCT, in this case, could be Saint Catherine)
Measurements: approximately 12cm high, base diameter 7. 5cm.
