Della Som Navajo Woven Rug, Two in One, Yei/Two Grey Hill
Wonderful vintage two in one rug was created by Navajo artist weaver Della Som. Pattern is Yei in the center with what appears to be Two Grey Hill framing the Yei figures. Tag from American Indian Shows is off but present along with an appraisal and photo of Som in front of her rug which I believe is her and family attached to the appraisal. The other photo is unknown but included. Measures approx 55" x 78". From the collection of Daniel Cutrone, professor at Cal State Dominguez Hills, specializing in preserving the four corners of Native American Indians. Comes with paperwork.
