Depast decorative ceramic plate, handmade in Greece and decorated with 24K gold. The center shows Dionysos, God of Pleasure, crowned with ivy and holding a kylix beneath a grapevine, with a young aulos (double flute) player and a small temple in the background. It is inscribed “Dionysos – God of Pleasure”. A black ground with polychrome and gold decoration, framed by a Greek key (meander) border and a floral rim. Gold Depast back stamp: “Hand Made in Greece – 24K Gold”.
Condition: Very good. Minor surface wear, with no visible chips or cracks.
