Desk - Folding desk, desk, desk, folding desk, secretary - Mahogany

'Georgian mahogany desk', desk top inlaid with red leather, gold rimmed.
Cast key entrées and 'gooseneck' fittings. Knobs, hinges and fittings original. Desk flap supported by two pullers, including 3 drawers. Entirely supported by curved 'bracket' legs.
England, circa 1750-1780
Very nice wax patina and in ready-to-use condition.

D= 54 - 89 cm. (Min-max dimensions, valve open)

Recently thoroughly checked for loose parts of construction and veneer. No living woodworm found on 18/4/2024
