Detecto Physician Scale w/ Height Rod

A professional physician balance beam scale manufactured by Detecto. The instrument features a dual-beam mechanical weighing system constructed of chrome-plated metal, mounted on a white painted metal upright column. The lower beam features raised lettering reading DETECTO and is graduated in 50-unit increments from 50 to 300. The upper beam is graduated in single units from 0 to 50 and includes a plate with text reading DETECTO MEDIC and a red and white circular logo. The weighing mechanism includes two sliding black metal poises and a fixed counterweight. Integrated into the column is a black telescopic height rod with a flip-down measurement arm graduated in inches.
