Deux flambeaux Khorasan en bronze, Perse XII-XIIIe siècle
Two Khorasan bronze lampstands, Persia, 12th/13th Century
the first on tripod base, rising to a domed body set with a series of six depressed lobed elements engraved to each with inscription filled cartouches in kufic, with baluster shaft, the circular drip tray with domed centre and everted rim; the second in four sections, a drip tray, shaft, base and detached foot
each approx. 47 cm. high
