The pair of bronze figures depicts Lord Vishnu with four arms and Shri Devi holding up a lotus flower bud in her left hand, another name of Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and his consort. Both are upright, worn by the daily ritual of domestic pujas. The figures are harmonious and proportionate; the alloy with which they were made has taken on a warm and uniform colouring.
