Dexter Horse Weathervane

Dexter horse weathervane. Horse circa 19th century, directional arrows later 20th century. Copper horse body with zinc head, copper post ball and lower support, all with verdigris patina. Cast iron post. Horse is removable from post. Remnants of gold paint throughout body of horse. Rusting, wear, oxidization and loss throughout all metals. Head appears to have been resoldered. Small splits to metal of horse's legs and hooves. Separation to horse's front left leg from post.
Horse (removed from post): 18 1/2" H x 29 1/4" x 4" W. Overall dimensions with horse on post: 65 1/2" H x 21 1/2"W
