One point of adhesive has failed, leaving a piece of colorless quartz slightly loose. The rectangular amethyst, measuring 17.45 x 11.15 x 7.30 mm, shows minor scratches and is held in place with both adhesive and prongs. The pinstem is made of 14k gold, while the overall body is marked and tests as 20k gold, weighing 21.60 grams.
