Condition Report:
In good condition with scratching and abrasions to the mounting commensurate with wear. Necklace with French assay marks for 18 karat (white) gold. The pendant mounting tests as platinum. The white gold would benefit from rhodium plating. Diamond weight stated in catalogue description approximated using measurements. Diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity (necklace) and H-J color, VS-SI clarity (pendant). Pendant also with rose-cut diamonds of decorative quality. The sapphire is medium deep slightly violetish blue, moderately included. Necklace clasp closes securely. Necklace fitted with collapsible bale. Accompanied by AGL report no. 1118141 dated September 30, 2021 stating that the sapphire is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
