(Hong Kong/New York. 1926-2010), ink and color on paper, 24 x 18 inches, inscribed and signed "Diana Kan" and with seal of the artist, framed. Diana Kan learned painting and calligraphy at an early age in Hong Kong and she became a disciple of Zhang Daqian. She moved to New York City in 1949. Her paintings are in the Metropolitan Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, and the National Historical Museum in Taiwan.
