Diminutive Queen Anne figured maple high chest, New England, 18th century. With two fan-carved drawers and seven plain drawers, scalloped apron, on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.
H: 59 in. W: 17 1/2 in. L: 34 1/2 in. PROVENANCE: Estate of Heidi Bingham Stott.
Condition Report: probably with later fan carving to drawers; upper fan with plugs/patches where former brasses were installed; some brasses possibly original, with no sign of later screw holes to those drawers; some brasses replaced; locks removed from drawers; a mend to runner right below cornice; later wood brace added to top of top section; area of loss to lower right of front apron; minor occasional age splits; missing knee return to front left side leg
