Signed lower right: Berea / Siena (illegibly dated, possibly reading 39 as Berea was in Italy studying from 1937-1942). Name plate attached to antique gilt frame reads: BEREA. Dimitri Berea. Impressionism. (Romanian/French/American, 1908-1975)
