Dining room chair (4) - Charles X - Wood - Second half 19th century
splendid complete set of 4 walnut chairs inlaid with light wood, for the tea room. Transitional period between the Louis Philippe and Charles X style, as can be seen. then produced around 1860. the seats have been completely redone in white fabric. wood shows small cracks and woodworm holes. (the anti-woodworm treatment was carried out by the old owner) the general condition is good but it needs little work to reinforce the structure of the chairs and the decorations. given the size of the chairs and the delicacy after the end of the auction, collection or delivery can be arranged
