Lot of 6 early 19th century Italian chairs in polished light wood with restored seat covered in white cotton fabric, including housse (custom-made removable cover with velcro closure) in the same fabric.
The harmonious backrest which recalls the shape of a lyre makes them virtually unique in the panorama of contemporary seats.
They come from Livorno from the ancient residence of the Danish consul in the Grand Duchy of Tuscany in the first half of the nineteenth century.
Backrest height 92 cm, width 48 cm, depth 50 cm, seat height 48 cm.
Given the size and characteristics of the lot, I envisage the only form of delivery being collection on site by the buyer, or alternatively the organization of transport at the expense and responsibility of the latter.
Renovated in the wood and in the seat, covered in fabric, they show normal signs of use and time. The chairs are located in Milan (Italy) , the weight is approximately 6 kg each.
