Dino Martens - Aureliano Toso - Vase (2) - A Trina

2 beautiful Murano hand blown blue, white and copper filigree ribbons, Italian art, glass flower vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, in the "A Trina" design. The whole piece has a zigzag design with alternating colors. The vases are in excellent new condition, as if they were made yesterday Dino Martens (1894-1970) was an Italian painter and designer best known for his glassware that was trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti. He had his paintings exhibited at the Venice Biennale (1924-1930) and became artistic director of Aureliano Toso (the famous Venetian glassware) after his return from the African wars in Italy. He stayed there for many years and produced many well-known works using traditional Venetian techniques, but produced some original effects, "bold" asymmetrical shapes - the designs were often characterized by their obvious difficulty The vases are carefully packed and sent by registered mail
