Nearly perfect and rare two eggs fossil. The two eggs shell are complete, few cracks, and it is almost impossible to see such a complete egg in the egg fossil. Dinosaur Oviraptor egg fossil. They date from the Cretaceous, 72. 1-83. 6 million years ago. They still have shell covering around surface. Elongated dinosaur egg is specific of oviraptor egg. Size is about 16*6. 5 & 14*8 cm.
Because the eggshell also contains pigments, proteins and mineral complexes, it appears black.
Oviraptor has a double fallopian tube structure, so they lay two eggs at a time, which is not seen in modern animals.
