Dinosaur Trackways Eubrontes giganteus & Grallator sp. Early Jurassic Portland Formation Kornell Nash Quarry, South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA This massive and spectacular fossil plate contains two Dinosaur footprints from two different types of ichnogenus theropod: Eubrontes and Grallator. Both varieties are known solely from trace fossil tracks, and both are exceptionally pronounced in the matrix rock with typical and expected evidence of being dyed for contrast. Unusually deep for any imprint, the larger footprint measures a whopping 11 inches (28 cm) from the base to the tip of the longest extended digit. The two brownish "negatives" are positionally opposed on the highly mottled background rock and both exhibit complete form with supreme detail. The specimen comes presented with a custom, black metal armature for a dramatic, impactful display.
