Rare settee that was designed by Dirk van Sliedregt for gebr. Jonkers in 1956. It has a black steel frame and beautiful curved detailed lines. Dirk van Sliedregt was a Dutch furniture designer, interior architect and teacher. Good quality and craftsmanship where important for him and his work. Van Sliedregt was inspired by classic, structural architecture and design, like Corbusier and modernistic buildings. It needs a bit of tlc, lacquer is missing and some of the rattan binding. Overall in a good, sturdy condition. Please look at the pictures carefully. Measurements: 158 cm wide, 76 cm high.
