RARE Contoured dish in Ko-Imari porcelain from Arita (Japan) .
Rich decor in shades of blue in the SHIRO-NUKI style (white designs on a blue background) .
On the plate, in the center, swastikas in crosspieces, and four alternating reserves, two of large peonies (white on blue) and two of flowers in diamond-shaped crosspieces. The plain blue marli. The hollow border decorated on a blue background with butterflies and cherry blossoms. Presence of five traces of pernette on the back of the dish, typical of old dishes.
Middle - Late EDO Period (1600 - 1868) , late 18th century production (1780 - 1810) .
Condition: Perfect condition.

Provenance: acquired from a Swedish collection (Malmö) of Asian Blue & White porcelain.
