Pair Large Antique Japanese 18th. C Edo Period Arita Imari Pattern Octagonal Dishes Or Bowls. From the Thomazeau Collection, residing in Hotel de Cours de Thomazeau in SW France, an exquisite 18th. C chateau. Octagonal dishes with underglaze blue and overglaze iron red, green, aubergine and gilt decoration with flower vase in center. 3 sprigs on the back cavetto. Three and four very fine stilt marks on the base. Size 4 cm (1 9/16") high and 24. 9 cm (9 7/8") and 25. 2 (0 15/16") wide at corners. Weight 610 gr and 650 gr.
