Although these sketches date back to the 1950s, Marc's subsequent travels to New Guinea in 1962, alongside his wife Alice, for inspiration on Disney theme park attractions, likely enriched his portrayal of diverse cultures. This assortment, stemming from the Davises' private collection, showcases Marc's ability to infuse his work with authenticity and imagination, reflecting his contributions to Disney's legacy.
