Quack Pack Huey Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1996). Offered in this lot is an original animation drawing featuring Huey, one of Donald Duck's triplet nephews, from the Disney Afternoon series Quack Pack. Attempting to replicate the success of earlier Disney Afternoon series Goof Troop, Quack Pack centers around Donald and adolescent renditions of his nephews who present with more distinct personalities than they have been depicted with previously. The series ran for 39 episodes in 1996, and co-producer Toby Shelton has said he considers Quack Pack more as "an extension of the original Donald Duck shorts" as they were the inspiration for the series. Long-billed Donald even makes a surprise appearance in episode 17 "Can't Take a Yolk"! This intensely expressive image of Huey, noted for his layered t-shirt/button-up attire, has been rendered in graphite on a piece of 12 field animation paper with a half-figured character size of 3.75" x 4.75". The sheet has been roughly trimmed to approximately 8.75" x 9" with a partial production code present in the lower right. With typical studio handling and wear including the noted trimming, light surface scuffing/wear, minor corner creases, and evidence of peeling with a small tear at the top edge, overall this original drawing from a rarely seen series is in Very Good condition.
