Alice Davis Main Street Window Replica, Window Dedication Invitation,"It's a Small World" Alice Davis Photo, and Alice Davis Photo Album (Walt Disney, 2012/2010s). "With all things good you have to wait a while for it and after 83 years, I got my wish." Disney Legend Alice Davis (1929 – 2022) was a famed artist and costume designer who created attire for the "It's a Small World" attraction at the 1964-65 New York World Fair and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction, as well as the "Carousel of Progress" and "Flight to the Moon". None one of this brilliant work went unnoticed. Alice was honored on 5/10/2012 with a window overlooking Main Street in Disneyland next to her husband's, the renowned animator Marc Davis (1913 – 2000). This lot features the beautiful replica window that was gifted to Mrs. Davis after the ceremony with colorful printed designs that read "Small World Costuming Co." and "Alice Davis Seamstress to the Stars". A photo of this window is included on page 199 of Marc Davis Walt Disney's Renaissance Man. Also included is a lovely "It's a Small World" photo of Alice holding one of her costume designs with many of the Small World characters, a binder with 48 heartwarming photos from the window dedication, and a beautiful 5'' x 7'' invitation to the dedication. The painted wooden window measures approximately 12'' x 20'' while the photo measures about 12'' x 22'' in a 17'' x 30'' glass frame. The album photos are standard 8.5'' x 11'' in a 9.75'' x 11.5'' binder. Both window and frame were hung in Marc and Alice Davis's home and are a testament to Alice's achievements. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Very Good to Fine condition with minor handling wear.
