Alice Davis June Foray Award (Walt Disney, 2013). The June Foray Award was first awarded in 1995 to June Foray (1917 - 2017), a renowned voice actress who is credited with establishing the Annie Awards and helping to create the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2001. The award has been named after her ever since and is given to anyone who has had a significant benevolent impact on the animation industry. Disney Legend Alice Davis (1929 – 2022) undoubtedly fit that description. A skilled seamstress and artist, Alice designed and created the costumes for the "It's a Small World" attraction at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction. She also worked on a several other attractions including "Flight to the Moon" and "Carousel of Progress". She was presented this award in 2013 by ASIFA Hollywood. The award features a spinning zoetrope and measures about 4.5'' x 6'' on a 4.5'' x 3'' x 4.5'' wooden base. The front includes a plaque. Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
