The Disney Store - Pair of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Display Figures (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Here's a fun pair of Disney Store displays – it almost looks like Mickey, in a mixed-print plaid and striped tuxedo, is posing for Minnie who has her camera at the ready. Mickey and Minnie each measure roughly 27" x 16". These adorable Disney Store fiberglass figures were actual displays and were never sold to the general public. Incredibly popular with customers, these oversized character props inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. These very rare store props exhibit typical wear from their use and removal. Despite paint chips, glue and residue, scuffs and scratches as expected from store props, these super-rare pieces will display nicely among any animation or Disney collection.
