The World of Disney at Disneyland Resort – Mickey Mouse, Minnie, and Pluto Store-Displayed Character Props Group of 3 (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). From the World of Disney, here's a fantastic trio of store-displayed character figures featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto. Mickey is wearing a fleece Pluto jacket and Minnie is in her iconic polka-dot dress and heels. Mickey and Minnie each measure about 27" x 16". Mickey is mounted to an 18" x 12" base. Pluto is at roughly 21" x 25". The World of Disney was not part of the Disney Stores but rather the theme parks which operates World of Disney emporiums outside of the parks in their "downtown" shopping areas at the Disney Resorts. Just like the character displays at the Disney Store, the character props were never sold to the public. They became so popular with guests that they inspired the wildly popular Disney Big Figs which were available for a limited time in the late 1990s and early 2000s. As expected, these very rare store props exhibit typical wear from their use and removal. Despite some paint chips, glue and residue, scuffs and scratches as expected, these highly prized Disney props will display beautifully.
