"It's a Small World" Original Costume Design Model Sheet Prints by Alice Davis Group of 18 (Walt Disney, 1964). This lot includes 18 of Disney Legend Alice Davis's (1929-2022) personal model sheet prints for the "It's a Small World" attraction at the 1964-1965 New York World Fair. Alice took on this ambitious project in 1963 with fellow Disney Legend Mary Blair (1911 – 1978), where she designed costumes for over 150 countries. All these gorgeous full figure drawings feature attire from North and South Africa and include detailed notes about the material, designs, colors, and sometimes location of where the hair would be created. Two prints include smaller drawings in the top right corner while two smaller prints are clipped to one page. As seen in pages 222 and 223 of the book Marc Davis Imagineering in the Disney Theme Parks Volume 1, that have attached for reference. All of the model sheets include a WED Enterprises Inc. stamp. The figures range from about 9.25'' x 14.25'' to 2.5'' x 4.25'' on 14'' x 16.75'' brown paper. The smaller prints attached are about 4.25'' x 5.5''.
