The Disney Store - Beauty and the Beast Beast Character Display Figure (Walt Disney, c. 1990s-2000s). Based on the celebrated Disney Renaissance classic Beauty and the Beast, this is an outstanding and large figure of the Beast, used for display at The Disney Store. Usually destroyed when the location closed, rare display figures like this one are highly coveted artifacts of Disney history. A delightful three-dimensional representation of the beloved character, this piece measures an enormous 33" tall with a length of 42" and a width of 21". Incredibly popular with customers, these oversized character props inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. Never sold to the public, this rare fiberglass figure shows typical wear from years of use in the store. Despite cracking, paint chips, scuffs, and scratches, this impressive piece will elevate any Disney collection, and is an excellent conversation piece. The condition overall is Fair to Good.
