Hollywood Boulevard Disney Store - "Performers" Mural Original 41" Painting Featuring 18 Characters (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). This jaw-dropping original painting is one of three made by Jody Daily in creating a large 3-wall mural within the Hollywood Boulevard Disney Store, adjacent to the historic El Capitan Theater. The painting contains 18 classic Disney characters interacting in a behind-the-scenes film production setting at the Walt Disney Studios. Mr. Toad is seen rehearsing lines, Jose Carioca is peering around a curtain, the Evil Queen is getting ready in her less-than-magic mirror, and a partial-donkey Lampwick is seen flirting with a Fantasia centuarette, among other hidden gems and Easter eggs. Painstakingly detailed, the acrylic painting is a true testament to the artistry of Jody Daily, and the level of quality that went into the Disney Store locations. The painting is composed of two sheets of art paper adhered to board, and measures 41" x 10.5". It is in Good condition, with spots of minor surface wear throughout, including a blemish near the Queen of Hearts' mirror. Black tape is applied at the edges to "frame" the artwork.
