Disneyland – Kevin Kidney Professor Owl Paper Float Model for Mickey's Soundsational Parade (Walt Disney, 2010). This is an extremely rare paper sculpture used as a model for the popular Mickey's Soundsational Parade at Disneyland. The parade debuted in 2011 and celebrated various characters and songs from classic Disney films. This paper sculpture depicts Professor Owl, the main character of Disney's Adventures in Music series, and was used to create the Professor Owl mechanical detail of the parade's opening unit. It comes from Kevin Kidney's personal collection. It is made of hand-trimmed and assembled paper. The model has been framed in a display box by Kidney and includes his notes regarding its use, as well as his signature and date. The paper model measures 6.5" x 9" and 2" deep within the 11.25" x 11.25" and 2.5" deep case. The condition is Fair to Good with some surface wear and spots of small stains from use and age.
