Disneyland – Kevin Kidney Paper Model for The Little Mermaid Float in Mickey's Soundsational Parade (Walt Disney, 2010). This is an extremely rare paper sculpture used as a model for the popular Mickey's Soundsational Parade at Disneyland. The parade debuted in 2011 and celebrated various characters and songs from classic Disney films. This paper sculpture depicts Sebastian's Chariot Fish from The Little Mermaid float, and comes from Kevin Kidney's personal collection. It is made of hand-trimmed and assembled paper with some reflective gold paint on the front side, and a painted wooden base and wire stand. The back side of the fish includes notes from Kevin regarding its use, as well as the joke note "back side (don't look at it)" with his signature "Kevin." The paper model measures 6.5" x 1.5" and 12.5" tall. The condition is Good with some minor surface wear from use and display. From the Personal Archives of Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily.
