Grumpy Big Fig Original Concept Painting (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). "I'd like to see anybody make me wash, if I didn't wanna!" This is an exceptionally rare original painting by Jody Daily depicting his concept for a Grumpy Big Fig, based on the fan-favorite dwarf from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The concept depicts Grumpy with hands on his hips and his ever-present pout, and is accomplished in acrylic and pencil. When designing the Big Fig, Jody Daily opted to begin the concept process with a physical painting, rather than working digitally, which by this time was a very rare design choice. For as sought-after as Big Figs themselves are, this is an even rarer opportunity to own an original concept painting for this beloved Big Fig. The painting is on 4.5" x 6" art board in a 7.5" x 9.5" frame.
