Winnie the Pooh "Classic Pooh" Big Fig Original Concept Painting by Jody Daily (Walt Disney, 2006). This is an exceptionally rare original painting by Jody Daily depicting his concept for a Winnie the Pooh Big Fig. The "Classic Pooh" style Big Figs were released in 2006, and were based on Ernest Shepherd's illustrations from the original Pooh stories. While the final Big Figs were made of resin, the master sculpts were actually carved in wood. When designing the Big Fig, Jody Daily opted to begin the concept process with a physical painting, rather than working digitally, which by this time was a very rare design choice. For as sought-after as Big Figs themselves are, this is an even rarer opportunity to own an original concept painting for this beloved Big Fig. The painting is accomplished in acrylic and pencil and has an image size of 2.25" x 4.25" on its 2.75" x 10" art board.
