Donald Duck Bob Baker Marionette Puppet Concept Painting (Walt Disney, c. 2000s). This is a stunning original painting of Donald Duck by Jody Daily, created as Daily's concept for a series of Bob Baker Disney marionettes. Bob Baker, legendary marionette designer and manufacturer, as well as co-founder of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater, was someone Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily had wanted to work with for a long time before this painting was created. Kidney and Daily approached Baker to work on a partnership in which their Disney character designs could be brought to life as marionettes through Baker's expertise and skill. The project never came to fruition, so this original concept artwork is some of the only work that remains from the partnership. The watercolor and pencil artwork is on 4" x 5" art paper in a 6" x 8" frame. It is signed by Jody Daily. The condition is Very Good. All frames are sold as-is.
