Disneyland – Pair of Haunted Mansion Stretching Portrait Woven Tapestries Production Samples (Walt Disney, 2005). "It's almost as if you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted room actually stretching?" This is a pair of production samples for Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily's extremely popular line of Haunted Mansion "Stretching Portrait" tapestries. These woven tapestries are based on the original designs for the attraction by Imagineer Marc Davis, and include bat-finial hanging rods that were made from original sculpts by Kevin and Jody. The tapestries depict the man on a barrel of dynamite, and woman on a tombstone portrait. Each measures 27" x 37.5", including the rods, and are in Very Good condition. There are small chips to the bat finials, a common occurrence for these tapestries from how they were originally packaged. From the Personal Archives of Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily.
